Soul Brew at Jeremy's on Sunday 11th Jan 2024......My first time at the northern soul run by the Soul Brew team. I'd heard several reports about this regular monthly event and a pretty mixed bag so thought it's time I try it for myself. Why oh why didn't I go sooner ?? The whole place was buzzing when I arrived, packed to the gills & a big crowd of folk filled the dancefloor strutting their stuff as only a soulie 🥫 can. Lots of friends both old & new, brilliant music, a really happy, feel good evening and I even got my No 1 track played (The Bottle Gil Scott Heron ) so cheers Stuart !! Overall marks out of 10? A pretty easy 15 I 🤔 think. Thank you guys for a really good soul session, KTF ☆ ☆ ☆

Friendly staff. Generous portions. Friday night meant there was live music and that was entertaining. Plenty of choices for drinks and the cocktails were decent. Would visit it again.

Went on a Sunday to celebrate my son's birthday. Seemed fairly quiet but still waited a while for our food to arrive. My son's order was wrong, but he didn't want to say anything. The food was good, not overfaced with the Sunday roast. Then we waited again for the bill, which arrived when I was in the ladies, so my son just paid as I had asked him to. When I checked the bill, we had been charged for something we hadn't had. This was refunded by the manager when I queried it. Not overly impressed with the whole experience, won't be rushing back.

There is nothing to dislike about this place at all. I am not a lover of Brighouse in general, but this is a little hidden gem. It was, as the name implies, a boathouse, so has the industrial feel to it with large csst metal crane lines running along the roof. It fronts onto the canal and has an outdoor balcony that runs above the canal, which would be fabulous in the summer (too cold when I was there). I met a friend for a catch-up, coffee, and a bit of lunch. This place is ideal for that. The staff were great and the food was pretty good. We were there for three hours and never felt pressured to leave even when we had no drinks. I will definitely come back and look forward to summer out on the balcony

Lovely looking place and great that they have live bands on. A couple of good cask ales but there's something iffy going on with pricing of the drinks as what we were charged didn't match anywhere even remotely near to what's on their website. Probably the most miserable, surly bar staff I've ever seen.
