Black Bull

Located opposite the Town Hall, near the market, this Grade II listed hostelry was built in 1740 and is probably the oldest pub in Brighouse. To the rear, in the middle of the 19th century, there was once a cricket ground. These days this pub is very busy town centre hotel, made particularly lively at weekends by the young. Entertainment consists of live music, discos or karaoke and a large screen television.

Not bad for a quick beer, not happy with the facilities in the toilets, very poor no soap and I think this is always the case as in the photo, there is no dispenser on the wall !!! After the last few years when know one was aloud to go to the pub. I would have thought you might help by supplying soap so we do not to go back to that.
