They are doing a good job. Good food, great service & great outside seating area.

  2. Matthew Seviour says:

Great service, really welcoming. Good food, I ate outside and it was nice and peaceful by the canal. The beer garden is huge, with what looks like extended bars (they are open mainly in the summer) also have a cocktail bar upstairs. A real gem of a place. The fries were to die for and the burger was so juicy and fresh. I would certainly dine here again.

Haven't had food for a lomg while but it was always brilliant in the past. I like that dogs are welcome, although it spuds be too busy for them on a weekend evening. Plenty of atmosphere and live bands. Great beer garden 👌

We were there for the 40's weekend. The place was rammed, but we didn't wait long to be served 👍🏻 Shame they don't serve, despite five real ales on offer, a dark ale. The Vocation 'Bread and Butter' was a decent substitute 🍻😋👍🏻
