Wow!!!!!! So, I was recommended this amazing place by a friend of mine, who is extremely picky when it comes to food and restaurants! I must say, not only was the food incredible, but the service was second to none. We have travelled far and wide dining, but to find somewhere on our doorstep is a game changer! Thanks so much guys, you were amazing, and compliments to the chef, and all the staff involved in the run up to tonight and this evening! 5 Stars!!!!! Happy Birthday Sarah Jones!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Brilliant spot! Food was delicious, staff great. Would highly recommend the Pork Belly and Mackerel Scotch Egg. German beer on Draught also really nice.

I recently went for Sunday menu at The Brooks in Brighouse and it was fantastic. From the moment you walk in the place feels warm and inviting like a home away from home. The staff were excellent: genuinely friendly, attentive without being intrusive and they knew the menu inside out. They gave us some great recommendations for dishes and drinks that matched exactly what we were in the mood for. The overall vibe of the place was just as impressive relaxed, stylish, and welcoming.

The meal felt overpriced, especially for what was essentially a less-than-impressive version of a home-cooked Sunday dinner. The roast potatoes were clearly reheated—soft, lacking crispness and flavour. The Yorkshire pudding was overdone, and the beef was served rarer than expected, with no option to specify how we wanted it cooked. It was also quite fatty, leaving a lot of waste on the plate. The table next to us had the same issue. At £36 for two small slices of beef (that’s all you get, one slice each), it felt like poor value. Everything else—mash, roast vegetables, stuffing balls—cost an additional £5-6 per dish. We dine out for Sunday roasts often, and this was by far the most expensive and least satisfying experience. When we mentioned our disappointment, we were met with a blank stare. It’s clear that the place has lost the charm it once had under the previous owners

It's got a stylish yet laid-back decor, making it a perfect spot whether you're out for a casual brunch or celebrating something special. Plus, sitting outside on a nice day in Brighouse is pretty hard to beat. All in all, The Brooks is definitely a place I’d go back to and tell my friends about.
